Our mission
and the content on this website is designed
to provide services for fathers and families
experiencing dissolution and parenting arrangement
difficulties. We here at Dads Unite want to
make sure that all Dads Stay Dads
Our
mission is to uphold the United States Supreme
Court decision
The United States Supreme Court
noted that a parent’s right to “the companionship,
care, custody and management of his or her children”
is an interest “far more precious than
any property right”.
Our
mission is to uphold the Constitution
The law requires maximum placement
with each parent, yet the family courts routinely
ignore fathers in favor of mothers when awarding
custody. This denies the equal rights of fathers
to be with their children, in violation of the
Constitution.
Our
mission is to uphold these laws
The Courts comply with the intent of the legislature
and grant equal placement to each parent unless
there is a finding, by full due process, that
a parent is unfit. The right to be a parent
is constitutionally protected, by The Fundamental
Liberty Right cannot be denied simply because
parents do not live together.
Our
mission
The presence of a father in his child’s life
is vitally important to the child’s development.
The lack of a father in a child’s life dramatically
increases the probability of dropping out of school,
incarceration, suicide, teen pregnancy, and divorce.
Yet the Courts frequently deny fathers their right
to participate in the raising of their children.
Our
mission
Divorced or unmarried parents should have an
equal right and responsibility to parent their
children without unjustified governmental interference.
Children have a right to maximum time with each
parent. In a majority of cases this means EQUAL
PLACEMENT.
Our
mission
The Courts are ignoring these common sense principles
of fairness and laws! Rather than maximizing the
time children spend with each parent and equally
supporting the roles of both parents, the courts
instead are unjustly interfering in our families
and are forcing many good parents to fight each
other in our courts.
