Who We Are

Dads Unite was founded in 1982 by Freddy Lee, where he went through a very lengthy five (5) year divorce. All the while he was only able to see his children a hand full of times. Thanks to our wonderful system. Sound Familiar?

His former wife was able to manipulate the courts every time she did not get her way. Sound Familiar?

She was able to get a restraining order against him, by lieing to a police officer. Sound Familiar?

He was arrested five times on breaking this restraining order on unfounded frivolous charges. Sound Familiar?

One time, she claimed that he talked to her in the courtroom in front of his and her lawyers. Sound Familiar?

But of course he was found not guilty of all of them. But the damage was already done. Sound Familiar?

She was able to keep him from seeing his children for six (6) consecutive months and of course the judge had no choice but to put him and his children on supervised visits starting at two (2) hours every other week. Sound Familiar?

He swore that no one should ever have to go through this. Both him and his children were so torn apart. Even until today they do not have that special love that should be there.

So Dads Unite was born, Freddy started helping dads stay dads forever more. Even until today he is not only our founder, but also he is our inspiration.

He fights on a constant basis for all Dads. He works with all governments making sure that dads stay dads; he says that no dad should ever be without their children and no children should be without their Dad.

Dads Unite is dedicated to helping Dads Stay Dads forever. We only allow the best of the best in our organization.

Freddy does all of the interviews with our attorneys, volunteers and employees personally. Even until today, he insists on this. And quite frankly we would not have it any other way.
